Polycrates of Ephesus

Bishop of Ephesus. About 190 he wrote for the bishops of Asia to Victor of Rome, defending their custom of keeping Pascha on the 14th day of the month and naming the apostles John and Philip, buried in Asia, as its source. Eusebius kept the letter.
