Lactantius, Divine Institutes 7.23
They will not, therefore, be born again, which cannot happen, but they will rise and be clothed by God with bodies and will be mindful of prior life and of all deeds and, placed in heavenly goods and enjoying the delight of countless stores, will give thanks to God present, because he has wiped out every evil, because he has raised them to kingdom and perpetual life.
Concerning which anastasis the philosophers also tried to say something as corruptly as the poets. For Pythagoras argued that souls pass into new bodies, but foolishly, because from humans into beasts and from beasts into humans and that he himself was restored from Euphorbus. Chrysippus better, whom Cicero says props up the Stoics' porch: who in the books he wrote on providence, when he spoke of the renewal of the world, said that we too, after our death, when certain times have returned, would be restored to the state in which we now are.
