The Didache, Didache 2
The second commandment of the Teaching is this: you must not murder, you must not commit adultery, you must not corrupt children, you must not engage in sexual immorality, you must not steal, you must not practice magic, you must not use potions, you must not kill a child by abortion, nor may you kill a newborn, and you must not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor. You must not swear falsely, you must not give false testimony, you must not speak evil of anyone, and you must not hold a grudge. Do not be double‑minded or double‑tongued, because a double tongue is a snare of death. Let your word not be false or empty, but filled with action. You must not be greedy, or a robber, or a hypocrite, or evil‑minded, or arrogant. You must not plot evil against your neighbor. You must not hate every person; instead, rebuke some, pray for others, and love some more than your own life.
