Commodian — Instructiones 37

Commodian · Instructiones · c. 250

Always wicked and stiff-necked you kick back; you do not want to be conquered: thus you will be disinherited. Isaiah said you are of fattened heart. You look at the law Moses dashed in anger; and the same Lord gave him a second law. In that he placed hope, which you, half-raised, sneer at. Will you therefore not be unworthy of the heavenly kingdom?

Latin

37 IUDAEIS.
