The editor closes the written visions of Saturus and Perpetua and notes that Secundulus died in prison before the account of Felicity.

These are the more remarkable visions of the most blessed martyrs Saturus and Perpetua, which they wrote down themselves. But God called Secundulus out of the world while he was still in prison, by an earlier departure. This was not without grace, so that he might gain the wild beasts. Yet even if his soul did not know the sword, his flesh certainly did.
